spacing and position
the four styles, live
Each one is a single click in the generator above. These are not screenshots, they are real styled text, the same squish and blur your export gets.
classic: black on green, squished, softly blurred
mirror: the same layout flipped horizontally
deluxe: a justified white block, edges flush
scribble: one clean strike through the line
an image beats pasted unicode text
A lot of sites answer a search for a brat text generator with a unicode trick: they swap your letters for lookalike symbols pulled from the math alphabets, and you paste the result into a bio or a caption. It seems clever right up until it leaves your clipboard.
Those symbols are not really letters. Screen readers announce them as gibberish or skip them entirely. Some platforms render them in a different fallback font, some show empty boxes, and search fields cannot match them against real words. And no unicode alphabet can reproduce the actual look: there is no codepoint for Arial squished to 69% width with a soft blur on top.
This tool makes an image instead. Pixels do not reinterpret themselves: the exact #8ACE00 green, the squished type, and the blur arrive identical on every phone, every platform, every screen. What you see in the preview is the file, rendered at the true resolution of the size preset you picked.
It also stays accessible. Post the image with your text in the alt field or the caption and a screen reader gets real words while everyone else gets the look. If you want the type styles compared in more depth, the brat font generator page breaks down the typeface itself.
how to write text in the brat style
-
paste or type anything
Drop a word, a caption, or a whole paragraph into the text box. Press enter for manual line breaks; long lines wrap on their own.
-
flip through the four styles
Classic green, mirror, the deluxe white block, and scribble. One click each, and the live preview updates as you switch.
-
dial in blur and text size
The blur slider starts at a subtle 0.15 so your words stay readable; nudge it up to 0.4 for the measured authentic softness, or pull it to zero for sharp edges. Text size is automatic, or take over with the slider.
-
grab the file
Download PNG, JPG, or WebP at the full target resolution, or copy the image straight to your clipboard. No watermark on any of it.
questions people actually ask
is there a character limit?
No. Type as much as you want: text wraps onto new lines and the auto size shrinks it until the block fits inside the canvas. A single word renders huge, a full paragraph renders small, and the sizing happens without you touching a slider.
how do i make multiple lines?
Press enter in the text box. The break carries into the image exactly where you put it. You can mix manual breaks with automatic wrapping, so a long line still folds cleanly when it runs out of width.
what are the four styles?
Classic is black squished text on the lime green. Mirror is the identical layout flipped horizontally. Deluxe is the white version: a justified block with both edges flush. Scribble strikes a clean line through the text, still on green.
is this the same as a unicode font generator?
No, this tool renders a real image. Unicode generators swap your letters for lookalike symbols that confuse screen readers and display differently, or not at all, depending on the platform. An image shows the exact same pixels everywhere and carries the real squish and blur, which unicode cannot.
why is everything lowercase?
The original cover is set entirely in lowercase, and that deliberately anti-polished look is most of the aesthetic. The lowercase toggle is on by default so whatever you type comes out matching. Switch it off if you want your capitals kept.
why does my text look soft?
On purpose, but gently. The original artwork was designed tiny and upscaled, which blurred its edges to about 0.4% of the canvas. This tool starts at a lighter 0.15 so your words stay readable; slide up to 0.4 for the full original softness or down to zero for crisp text.
